I was able to open iPhoto using New Finder and then clicking on iPhoto in Mac OSX 10.2 Jaguar. Using the graphics icon of iPhoto or Jaguar does not work.

IPhoto can import from camera, memory card reader, CD, floppy disk, or other locations on computer's hard disk. The program does not give file types. iPhoto can export and allows the user to choose file type; however there was no photo to open and so I did not have a file to export. SImilarly, because there was no file to open, I couldn't save. I did find the save location via iPhoto Help.
