The ORCAD Desktop Solutions with the executable location (C:\OrCademo\Orcad.exe) is a presentation and has information about the company and a product catalog does not run without the disk.

Win32s is available to install but not necessary because it is already on the desktop.

OrCAD Layout Demo does not install and shows the error message “FATAL ERROR AT SCRIPT LINE 239 Unable to create directory”

Adobe Acrobat is also a part of the installation set up but I did not install it. Since these are demos nothing could be saved I could only find a save location for the OrCAD Simulate Demo.

For OrCAD Simulate and OrCAD Capture demos there was no default save file format because it depends on what type of file you want to create first. For OrCAD Simulate you can choose between Project, VHDL Source, EDIF Source, or Standard Delay. For OrCAD Capture you can choose between Capture Design and Capture Library.
